A Red Flag Warning is in effect for all of eastern North Dakota and west central and northwest Minnesota thru this evening. Winds will be strong out of the south at 20-30mph, with gusts up to 45mph. Up to 50 mph gusts within Red River Valley.

Windy conditions today with very low relative humidity values in the teens. These conditions may continue into Tuesday as well, extending the period of high fire danger. Highest wind gusts (45-50 mph) within the Red River valley today and again Tuesday. Near record or record highs both today and Tuesday.

Big temperature change this week. Near record or record highs today, and maybe on Tuesday for many areas, then much cooler Friday and Saturday. Widespread rain anticipated to move in Wed night lasting on and off into Friday. Depending on cloud cover, even frost is possible this weekend.
