WEDNESDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with major risk of heat effects
  possible.

* WHERE...Lowell, and low elevations of the Southern Clearwater
  Mountains.

* WHEN...From Monday afternoon through Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...This level of heat affects anyone without effective
  cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts likely in some health
  systems, heat-sensitive industries and infrastructure.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

* WHERE...Kootenai/Cabinet Region and Lower Clark Fork Region.

* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...This level of heat affects anyone without effective
  cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts likely in some health
  systems, heat-sensitive industries and infrastructure.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.

Daily chances for thunderstorms will continue through at least
Friday into the weekend. Some storms may be strong, but
widespread severe weather is not expected at this time.

decrease for the evening. Severe weather is not expected at this
time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Daily chances for thunderstorms will continue through at least
Friday into the weekend. There is a marginal risk (level 1 of 5)
of severe thunderstorms on Saturday, meaning that isolated severe
storms are possible. Primary hazards include large hail and
damaging winds.
