Storms today will move east or east-northeast at 25 mph.

Thunderstorms are possible, a few of which could bring locally heavy
rainfall and strong winds gusts.

Afternoon heat indices may peak around 100 in a few locations this
today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Thunderstorms are likely at times Friday into Friday evening, but
are also possible at times overnight Friday night, and in southeast
Kentucky on Saturday. A few of the thunderstorms on Friday and Friday
evening could produce locally heavy rainfall and strong wind gusts.
There is also a possibility of thunderstorms at times from Monday
through Wednesday.

Afternoon heat indices may peak around 100 in a few locations on
Friday.

area. Damaging winds are the main threat with any severe storms.

flash flooding.

Showers and thunderstorms possible on Friday with another cold front.
Some storms could be strong or severe with damaging winds being the

low end severe gust this afternoon to early evening, though storm
intensity and coverage should diminish or dissipate after sunset.
