Last Map Update: Thu, Jul 4, 2024 at 3:50:45 am MDT

Breezy to locally windy canyon winds are possible tonight across the Albuquerque and Santa Fe Metro areas as a cold front presses through the gaps of the Central Mountain Chain.
A warmer and mostly dry 4th of July is forecast. Only a few storms possible across the east and south.
Chances for storms will trend back up tonight through Friday across eastern NM thanks to moisture moving in behind a backdoor front.
If you're headed out to see the fire works tonight, it will still be quite warm with low chances of precipitation spoiling your fun!
This table indicates the probability for thunderstorms over wildfire burn areas.
