There is an elevated risk of wildfires in parts of Northern and Central Nevada from 1 PM PDT Wednesday afternoon until 8 PM PDT Wednesday evening. The combination of dry fuels, low relative humidity values, and gusty west to northwest winds can contribute to extreme fire behavior. Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
High temperatures throughout Northern and Central Nevada Thursday afternoon will be near normal for this time of year under sunny skies.
Temperatures throughout Northern and Central Nevada Thursday evening for fireworks displays will range from the upper 60s to the upper 70s under mostly clear skies.
Near normal temperatures Tuesday will trend warmer the rest of the week, with well above normal temperatures this weekend.
High temperatures throughout Northern and Central Nevada Saturday afternoon will be around five degrees above seasonal values. Maximum temperatures across Northern and Central Nevada Sunday afternoon will be about ten degrees above normal for this time of year. A Heat Advisory may be required.
