The combination of a slow moving cold front, warm temperatures and deep moisture produced a period of heavy rainfall from late Sunday night through most of Monday. In addition, the warm temperatures caused the snow pack across area to melt. Rainfall amount of 1 to 2 inches and the snow melt caused flooding across parts of the area.
The rainfall reports below are from Cooperative and CoCoRah observers. The reports are storm total or a two day total generally from 8 AM January 24, 2010 to 8 AM January 26, 2010.
