There is a low chance for severe weather this afternoon, mainly along and east of I-65. Strong winds and hail will be the primary threats.
The scattered showers and storms will continue through Wednesday. While severe weather is not expected over the next 3 days, a couple storms could produce gusty winds and small hail.
A favorable severe weather pattern will be in place at the end of this week. Stay tuned to the forecast through the week for updates!

On May 12, 1923...An F2 tornado touches down 10 miles north of
Nashville, and cuts a 10 mile path northeastward into Sumner County.
There are 6 injuries.
